GOLDEN SUNSHINE is a fully branded and registered Hessen Pinto mare, bred in Germany in 1999. She is also further registered with the ZfDP.
Golda, as she is known at home, was ridden performance tested at Verden, Germany in 2002, completing this test successfully.Golden Sunshine's sire is the well known European coloured stallion Golden Chief, whose bloodlines include the famous Hanoverian stallion, Absatz and the renowned coloured Trakehner, Markiz.
Golden Chief's dam, Galka, belongs to the Trakehner family of Cornelia - going back to 1913.
Being an absolutely stunningly bright chestnut and milky white colour herself, Golden Sunshine has been further tested and is homozygous for the tobiano gene; she will, therefore, always produce a coloured foal, no matter whether the sire is coloured or solid.
This mare has the sweetest and most willing of temperaments which has, so far, always been passed on in spades to her foals.
