MADEIRA  FB  is fully papered, branded, graded and successfully completed her mare performance test in the UK with the BHHS in 2006.

Her sire, MEDOC, needs no introduction, being one of the most highly graded stallions standing in the UK today. He is a 300 day performance tested Hanoverian stallion and was originally selected by the German Commission to stand at the State Stud in Celle. Having been bred from Germany's finest bloodlines, including the famous Gotthard and Absatz, his sire, Maat 1, has produced over 160 well known dressage horses and Germany's only regret is that they have no other son of Maat 1 to stand at stud. MEDOC combines excellent conformation, elastic paces and outstanding jumping ability, together with a most wonderful temperament, all of which he passes on to his progeny.

MADEIRA  FB 's dam, Waleska, is a State Premium Candidate mare, having been successfully performance tested in Germany prior to being imported to the UK.

MADEIRA  FB  was bred by the renowned Hanoverian breeders George and Beryl Haslam, Lockerbie, Dumfriesshire, and is indeed herself a half-sister and aunt to their own stunning mare, Merinka, (also by Medoc and out of a daughter of Madeira's dam) so successfully competed by Jo Barry in British Dressage affiliated competitions winning multi-championships to National level.

MADEIRA  FB  is pictured here, above, as a 4 year old with the long-standing successful breeder, dressage rider and producer Paul Friday at her BHHS mare performance test in 2006, which she completed successfully.

The alpha mare of our small herd, MADEIRA  FB  is nonetheless gentle, kind and easy to work with and has the ideal temperament for a broodmare. By passing on her uphill paces and extravagant action, we feel sure that her progeny will be highly regarded.
