Please check back regularly for new additions and updates.

18/12/08 -  We are very pleased to announce that FLYINGBUCK STUD now has a new, easier to remember URL.....

This can be used with immediate effect to access our website.

07/12/08 -  FLYINGBUCK STUD would like to take this opportunity to wish all our clients, friends and family a very Merry Christmas 2008 and a healthy, happy and successful New Year 2009.

16/11/08 - We received news today from Ashley that Freddie, one week after he left us, continues to be a laid back character. He is just like his dam, Golden Sunshine, as she is such a sweet and lovely mare with a wonderful temperament who is always willing to please.

09/11/08 - Congratulations to Ashley, Chairperson of Strathearn Riding Club, on her purchase of Flyingbuck Quickstep (Freddie)! Ashley came to view Freddie, along with a few other members of the Riding Club, on 02 November. After a second viewing with her husband a few days later, it was decided that Freddie would be going to live with them on the farm.

Freddie was a total star being loaded for his journey to his new home, then travelling and unloading; all done very quietly with no stress to the colt. This once again proves that the Flyingbuck philosophy of only breeding with graded mares of sound temperament, together with the early and consistent handling of foals, pays huge dividends in the successful development of our stock.

We are so pleased that Freddie has gone to such a lovely new home and we wish Ashley all the best with him in the future. Ashley has very kindly agreed to give us updates on this wonderful colt's progress. We also look forward to seeing Freddie out in the show ring next season.

28/10/08 -  We were very pleased to learn that the 2006 filly out of our own coloured Hessen mare, Golden Sunshine, has been successfully graded with the Oldenburg Verband - many congratulations to Sarah and her team in Devon!

Our mare, Golden Sunshine, is also the dam of our stunning 2008 colt foal, Quickstep (Freddie), who is by Paul Schockemöhle's stallion, the proven World Champion 5 Year Old Showjumper 2005, Quicksilber.

25/10/08 - A day where we have experienced a mixture of emotions - happy that Flyingbuck Santina will be starting a new life with her new owner, but sad also to see her leave us.  Ayrshire Horse Transport arrived this lunch time, (despite being met by a fallen tree en route through Glenfarg) to collect Tina and take her to her new home. Tina was an absolute star and walked straight up the ramp - thank goodness, as it was blowing a hoolie here at the time! Bon voyage Tina!

We later heard that Tina had travelled very well, came off the lorry with no problems whatsoever, settled quickly in her new home and was soon happily munching her hay.

10/10/08 - Congratulations to Fiona on her purchase of Flyingbuck Santina! Fiona came to visit the Stud on 28 September and decided there and then that Tina would be going back home with her after weaning. Tina will leave for her new home on 25 October - we are so pleased that she will be going to such a lovely new owner and we wish Fiona all the best with Tina for the future!

05/10/08 - We are delighted to announce that SPS Hatara has arrived safe and sound at FLYINGBUCK. We are thrilled to have her here with us and are pleased to report that she has travelled very well. We eagerly await her Scolari foal in 2009! This will definitely be one not to be missed!!!

03/10/08 - Following our very successful visit to MKM Sportshorse Stud on 21 September, we have subsequently purchased a very exciting addition to complement our small herd of  Broodmares. The simply stunning 4 year old Hanoverian, St.Pr.St. Hatara, (His Highness x Longchamp x Bolero), will be joining us shortly. Further details and photographs of this high flying mare can be found on our Broodmares page.

Thank you very much, Sian - it was a great pleasure to welcome you to Flyingbuck and we are, quite naturally, over the moon with your work. Anyone interested in booking Sian can do so through her personal website -

04/04/08 - Our homozygous coloured mare, Golden Sunshine, blessed us at 22.40 hrs with a superb coloured chestnut and white colt foal by the 5 year old World Showjumping Champion 2005, Quicksilber (see Sires Used page for link). This stunning chap, who has been named Flyingbuck Quickstep, already shows enormous presence and has a wonderful future ahead of him. Photographs to follow.
