This absolutely gorgeous 3 year old filly was imported from Germany as a weanling, where she had already made her indelible mark in the show-ring, having been very successfully competed with her dam.
Sempra was the highest scoring coloured foal of either sex at the ZfdP Landeschampionat grading covering Germany and Denmark in 2006, and then came second overall when against both coloured and solid foals, only being beaten by 1 point (143 to 142!) by a solid Consens colt. She then went on the following month to win the Bundeschampionat in Grasleben, Germany, easily beating off every single one of her competitors to wear the Champion's Sash with great pride, before being imported to the UK.

Sempra's sire is the very influential SEMPER (click on name for link), the Oldenburg approved, licensed and graded sire standing in Germany. He himself is by the hugely famous Holsteiner stallion,Sandro, who is also the sire of Sandro Hit and Sandro Song, and who also has a total of 36 approved sons, 308 approved mares, and 27 states premium mares.
Semper's dam, Imago, is an Elite Preferent rated KWPN mare by Samber, the world's most influential and successful pinto Warmblood of all time. Semper is also the sire of Liz Hall’s homozygous stallion Sempatico.
Sempra's dam, Scarlet, is by Sambuco B (Samber x the thoroughbred Le Faquin x Enfant de Normandie) and the dam-line also has Trakehner blood via the stallion Rondo.
We rate this sweet young mare very highly indeed (as do the graders and judges she has been under thus far) and we have high hopes of a very successful ridden career for Sempra once we have taken a foal from her, as she is the perfect stamp of a Riding Horse

Pictured above as a 2 year old, Sempra gives herself a final once over in the mirror before going in the ring to take 1st Place in the Scottish Festival of Champions In Hand Show Hunter Youngstock 3 Years And Under class on 27 March 2008.
We hope to grade Sempra into the Head Stud Book of the Oldenburg Society when she has matured.
